How to Become “Excellence” Teacher in Pre-Academic Romanian Education?

AbstractThe aim of the study is to present the authors’ proposals with a personal view to procedures for obtaining the degree of excellence in the Romanian educational system. The main methods applied are the study of the literature correlated with a comparative analysis of the documents on Romanian educational policy concerning the issue. Based on these, we shall try to see: whether this approach still exists in the European systems or not; if it still does, how it is conceived as compared to the Romanian perspective; the way in which its content is regulated in the Romanian educational system; our proposals and recommendations for obtaining the degree of “excellence” teacher
